Guys, please re-read the guide. Many of you are asking what to do if Chexsystems doesn’t reply to you after you send letter #1. Look at the title of Letter # 3 – is says “Letter # 3 (Send if ChexSystems fails to respond to letter # 1 within 30 Days”).

i study contract law and i believe there’s one piece that should be added to these letters. (self executing security agreement) put this in the contract which this is a binding contract since it is being sent by certified mail. basically what it means is no matter what they say YOUR law applies, so technically you can write what you want and the contract only favors you no matter what they say. this is something we use in big contracts with large corporations so no matter what they add to the contract its still in our favor. Also use the word (including) in the contract which means; any terms I’ve stated and any terms i can later add to this contract. “i.e. Including Defamation, Negligent Enablement of Identity Fraud, Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Its a contractual slap in the face and you can find more info on this in the UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE U.C.C.

I HAD AN ACCOUNT A FEW YEARS BACK AND MY DEBIT CARD WAS STOLEN AND CHARGED I DISPUTED THE TRANSACTIONS ONLY TO NEVER KNOW THAT ID BEEN SENT TO CHECK SYSTEMS WHEN A BANKING REP TOLD ME MY ISSUE WAS TAKEN CARE OF. HOW DO I GET IN-TOUCH WITH SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP ME DISSOLVE THIS ISSUE? IS THERE A OPTION OF A PAYMENT PLAN? IF SO IF I PAY THEM DOES THAT TAKE ME OUT THERE SYSTEM WHERE I CAN THEN OPEN A ACCOUNT? I CANT GET WITH ANY BANK AND I AM ONLY 22. ITS SO BAD THAT IM IN THIS SYSTEM BECAUSE I CANT GET BANK IN THE BANKING FIELD AS MY CAREER PLEASE HELP

I am in the same boat as Matt. I received a letter saying that they have forwarded my letter to the appropriate person for handling my dispute. They also sent me a revised copy of the chexsystems report with the “Report Disputed by the Consumer”. Does this mean I have no shot of getting out of this now?

Oh also I sent my first letter I got a response saying my file was forwarded to the appropriate personnel for handling. If an investigation is necessary, we will contact the source of information to request that they verify the accuracy of the information they submitted to us. What letter do I send 2? Thanks

Kelly- can you use the same exact letters to get a credit card out of collections like you said above? Of course change the adress.

Administration, I sent letter one to US Bank. on june 28 they sent a letter UPS telling me to sign my letter before they will release any documents. What should i do? any advice? sure not interested in giving them my signiture. for all i know they may doctor it up to try something.
