Alternatives to ChexSystems
When you search for Chexsystems help online, please be wary of most of the offers you see, or at least be sure to read all of the terms and conditions. Most “guaranteed checking accounts” are nothing more than a pre-paid debit card, with tons of fees.
A prepaid debit card is basically a card you can use at purchases or at an ATM to get cash. But with many you are required to have your paychecks direct deposited to fund the card. And on top of that, there are $100 signup fees, monthly fees, ATM fees, purchase fees – you get the picture.
While that may not be a problem for you, please make sure you read all of the terms and conditions before signing up for any of these offers, to make sure you are comfortable with them.
Also, you may want to do a Google search on the company who is providing the card, to see what other customers are saying!
